Feng Shui for your entire house |
To create a harmonious eng Shui home, you need to be sure there is good energy flow in every room. From the best color for your front door to the best decor for your bedroom, and designing your kitchen and bath, follow these to create a harmonious and happy home.
Good Feng Shui begins at the front door: The house gets its Chi or energy nourishment, through the front door. Your front door should be as inviting, welcoming, and attractive as possible. Ensure an unobstructed, open flow of energy to the front door. This means there are no recycling bins, cracked old pots with dead plants, or any other items blocking the flow of feng shui energy to your front door. Keep the area clean, fresh and flowing.
Create harmony in the Living Room: A living room that is clean and clutter free is the foundation for good Feng Shui, Stale air and poor lighting are big enemies of good Feng Shui, so give your room as much natural light and good air as possible. For instance, if you only have a few small windows, decorate with mirrors to bring in more natural light and try to layer your indoor lighting.
Promote a healthy kitchen: Your kitchen is the part of the home that nourishes and sustains life. Feng shui-wise, it is the most important part of your home. The kitchen is also a symbol of wealth and prosperity. The most important aspect in kitchen Feng Shui regarding the stove is its location in the Bagua map of your home. As the stove represents the fire element, it is best to have it in a kitchen location that is compatible with or is not damaged by its fire energy. South and southwest are considered ideal.
Harmonious energy for the bedroom: A good Feng Shui bedroom is one that promotes a harmonious flow of nourishing, vibrant and sensual energy. Be mindful of the quality of air in your bedroom. You cannot have good Feng Shui in your bedroom if the air you breathe is stale and full of pollutants. Please note, though, that plants in the bedroom are not good unless your bedroom is fairly large and the plants are located far from the bed.
