is located 475 km from Jaipur, in the Sirohi district on the highest peak of the
Aravalli range when coniferous trees and flowering shrubs covering the

wildlife sanctuary: The sanctuary, located in one of the oldest mountain ranges
in India was declared a wildlife sanctuary in 1980. It has a very rich flora
and fauna. The vegetation starts from sub-tropical thorn forests in the foot
hills to sub-tropical evergreen forests along the watercourses and valleys at
higher altitudes. A variety of rare and endangered species of animals are found
here like the leopard, sambhar, jungle cat, small Indian civet, wolf, hyena,
jackal, Indian fox, wild boar, bear, common, langur, pangolin, common mongoose,
here and porcupine.
Peace Park:
The park in Mount Abu is a part of the Brahma Kumaris spiritual establishment.
The park is a perfect escapade from hectic city life to find serenity.
Nestled between Guru Shikhar and Achalgarh, the two Aravali peaks, the park
will take you to a world of peace and spirituality. Inside the park, there is a
citrus and an or child corner, a rock garden with different types of succulents
and floral displays.
Nakki Lake:
Nakki Lake is a popular tourist attraction. Surrounded by hills, the serene
lake is heaven for nature lovers. You can take a stroll around the lake. Relax
or enjoy boating. According to a Hindu legend, this lake is an ancient sacred
lake. It is said that the lake was dug out with nails (Nakh) and hence it got
its present name, Nikki
Dilwara
Temples: known for their architectural splendor and exquisite stone carvings,
the Diwara temples are dedicated to Jain Tirthankars. Located about 2.5 km from
Mount Abu, the temples were built in 11th and 13th
centuries AD. The temples are built of white marble quarried from Ansori hills
near Ambaji. The temples were built by the ministers of the Solanki rulers of
Gujarat. Each temple boasts of the majestic entrance way. Minutely carved ceilings.

and handicrafts like Kota saris, Sanganeri prints linen, lightweight Jaipuri

carvings, wooden, marble and metal artifacts and Rajasthani paintings.
